- I don't have that card but I can tell you now that the A3000 SCSI
- controller will likely beat the pants off the GVP SCSI controller. I
- don't think any card, short of the Fastlane or the DKB4091 Zorro-III
- SCSI2 cards can beat the A3000 controller. It is a pretty fast design and
- still holds it own after like 5 years. When it first came out it was the
- fatest drive subsystem on personal computers and some hard drive
- manufacturers used them for stress testing. I believe it tops out at
- around 3.5 Megs a sec with Synchronous transfers enabled. I get a max
- speed of 3.1 Megs/sec or so with Synchronous transfers on my A3000 with
- Quantum Trailblazer 850 (According to DiskSpeed.) It would seem your own
- testing have shown that.
