  22. I don't have that card but I can tell you now that the A3000 SCSI 
  23. controller will likely beat the pants off the GVP SCSI controller. I 
  24. don't think any card, short of the Fastlane or the DKB4091 Zorro-III 
  25. SCSI2 cards can beat the A3000 controller. It is a pretty fast design and 
  26. still holds it own after like 5 years. When it first came out it was the 
  27. fatest drive subsystem on personal computers and some hard drive 
  28. manufacturers used them for stress testing. I believe it tops out at 
  29. around 3.5 Megs a sec with Synchronous transfers enabled. I get a max 
  30. speed of 3.1 Megs/sec or so with Synchronous transfers on my A3000 with 
  31. Quantum Trailblazer 850 (According to DiskSpeed.) It would seem your own 
  32. testing have shown that.
